Vocal Ensembles

At °µÍøTV, students of all majors have the opportunity to perform in a range of dynamic vocal ensembles—from large choral groups to competitive touring ensembles and staged opera productions. Whether you're studying music or simply love to sing, there's a place for you here.

°µÍøTV Singers

Open to All Students – No Audition Required
The °µÍøTV Singers is the largest choral ensemble on campus, featuring approximately 100 student vocalists. This non-auditioned group welcomes singers from all majors and backgrounds.

• Performs once per semester

• Repertoire includes major choral works and selected shorter pieces

University Chorale

Select Touring Ensemble – Audition Required
The University Chorale is °µÍøTV’s premier vocal touring ensemble, open by audition. While many members are music majors, students from other disciplines are also represented.

• Performs frequently on campus and regionally

• Tours have included Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas

• Qualified for the World Choir Games "Champion of Champions"

• Featured performer at the Oklahoma Music Educators Association State Conference (5x)

• Members have also performed with ACDA All-Collegiate Choirs in St. Louis and Denver

Opera Workshop

Offered Each Fall Semester – Audition Required for Principal Roles
The °µÍøTV Opera Workshop brings music and theatre students together for fully staged productions as part of the Fine Arts Series at °µÍøTV’s Ataloa Theater, located in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

• Open enrollment for chorus and supporting roles

• Full productions include sets, costumes, lighting, and props

• Accompaniment varies from piano to full orchestra

• Whether you're pursuing a degree in music or simply want to stay involved in vocal performance, °µÍøTV’s vocal ensembles provide outstanding artistic and educational experiences.
